57 year old, Kamal Haasan has earned his name in Bollywood and is most known for his role in the Bollywood comedy movie “Chachi 420″ where he changes his getup as a female caretaker of his own daughter to stay around her. He is not just an actor but also a film maker.
Hollywood film maker of the evergreen movie, “The Lord Of The Rings”, Barrie Osborne is apparently friends with Kamal Haasan. They have had talks regarding their respective works and the two have decided to work together.
Barrie Osborne and Kamal Haasan will be making a movie that has an Indian story but depicted in a western Hollywood style. Their project definitely is going to be a mash of Bollywood & Hollywood.
“We plan to tell the story of Indian history and tradition in Hollywood style.”
Kamal who has been so popular says that the world may have acknowledged his work but a person does not know how well his work has been until they are approached by people they admire and look up at. And when Kamal Haasan was approached by film maker, Barrie Osborne, he knew that he had earned a name.
He said,
“The lineage that Barrie comes with is close to my heart. All the heroes that I have looked up to have worked with him. He has worked with champions of Hollywood like Cappola (Francis Ford Coppola).”
Barrie Osborne thinks very highly of Kamal Haasan because of his acting, film making skills and the knowledge he owns in the movie industry. He continued by complimenting him saying,
“It was a pleasure to meet Kamal Haasan over the years. Kamal is like a cinema encyclopedia.
The concept of the movie is decided but the entire idea is still under development.
