Bridesmaids – A Comedy Around A Wedding is a 2011 Movie full of emotions, fun, laughter and drama. There are moments you can relate to and there are moments you can fall upon to.
Beware, because some scenes of the movie are going to make you “Laugh Out Loud.”
The casting and acting are both wonderful and the script is clearly plain but highly enjoyable. Maya Rudolph who plays as the bride is taken on a journey to her Wedding Day by her best friend, Kristen Wiig and 4 other Bridesmaids.
The fun begins when each Bridesmaid wants to have things done their own way, for their own purposes and for their own comfort while the Bride becomes a puppet whose personal desires and wishes are thrown aside.
The best scene of the movie is when all the Bridesmaids and the Bride go for their first Dress Fittings after having eaten food that is slowly causing them food poisoning and all they want to do is rush to the Loo. *laugh out loud again.*
Rose Byrne plays as a flawless beauty Bridesmaid who has got an upper hand on weddings and knows how to make things possible. This exact side of hers is what Kristen Wiig slowly starts feeling uncomfortable about.
The wedding plans become plans of rivalry.
Don’t forget to keep those tissues ready too because by the end of the movie, when laughter comes to a halt, emotions of love, friendship, understanding and commitments start taking place.
