Carey Muligan And Marcus Mumford – Married Silently!!!

What’s that we hear? It’s the wedding bells.

“Drive – Get In, Get Out, Get Away“ movie Actress and we must say, a wonderful actress, Carey Mulligan has got married to musician Marcus Mumford on Sunday, the 21st of April, 2012 on a farm in Somerset, England.

Marcus first met Carey when he was performing in Nashville, Tennessee in 2011. At that time, Carey had broken up with her Transformer Star boyfriend, Shia LaBeouf and Marcus as well had ended his relationship with singer, Laura Marling.

Reports say,

“She sat in the front row and while he was singing Marcus looked down at Carey and she blushed. It was clear they had chemistry. Afterwards they went to the City House restaurant and dined with friends but they sat together and acted like a couple.”

After 5 months of dating, Marcus Mumford proposed Carey Muligan and precisely after 9 months to their engagement, the couple decided to get married.

The couple took their vows in a West Country wedding but kept it very low. Well, keeping low is something they are good at. We know because they had their affair low as well. So the wedding was very humble and in front of close friends and family only.

Many celebrity friends were also invited including  Sienna Miller, Colin Firth and Jake Gyllenhaal and therefore were also the witness to their vows.

The spice news of the wedding is, it was no traditional wedding with tradition songs or food. In fact there was pizza. Now that’s different. Pizza on a wedding. Who would have thought that was coming?

As for the music, Adele was asked to perform at the wedding. It has been one of Adele’s life long dreams to work for Mumford And Sons and she was exceptionally excited when she was asked to perform at their wedding.

Jake Gyllenhaal also added the fun by picking up the Guitar and as Carey joined in, the fine evening turned into galore of genuine fun. Everything was simple and it went along very graciously specially without the paparazzi.

Boy we sure missed it.
