Once upon a time there was this story that I read when I was a little about a girl named Cinderella and I stared at my story book looking at that glass shoes wondering how they would be in real life.
I guess dreams do come true in real life as well and making this dream come true is the famous shoe designer, Christian Louboutin.
He has collaborated with Disney to bring the fairy glass slippers into the real modern world of fashion, glamour and style. The shoes are not glass of course but he has used lace to give the same see through effect. Made with lace and Swarovski crystals, these pair of Cinderella Shoes are a hearttrob. Christian Louboutin has done justice to the fairytale glass slippers.
These modern-day Cinderella shoes are just so amazing that one can only imagine themselves wearing these shoes while all others stare in utter jealousy but here is the sad catch. These pair of shoes are a limited edition of 20 pairs and will be given out to 20 lucky women from around the world at the release of Cinderella : Diamond Edition Blu-ray.
All I can say is that, those 20 women are going to be really lucky to own a pair of shoes that Christian Louboutin has personally hand made studding every Swarovski crystal one after the other and carefully placing the butterflies on the laced shoes.
To Christian Louboutin, Cinderella story is something that he sees happening in his store everyday. He explained, When a woman walks into his store and tries a pair of shoes that she loves, we watch a prominent change in attitude and personality that boosts their confidence.
This project will be his most amazing, personal and important projects of his life as they represent the theme of his work. The butterfly on his shoes represent that they were caterpillars before and then they transform into beautiful insects with wonderful colors, ready to discover and ready fly.

Aaah. I wish they were but they are not on sale. They just made 20 rare pairs for giving out to 20 lucky women around the world when they release Cinderella Diamond Edition Blu-ray.
