Christina Aguilera – A Role Model For Fat Girls? wants to see her estranged father again whom she last met in 1999. The 31 years old singer was physically and emotionally abused by her abusive father but she still wants to sit down and help in reconciliation of differences with him if possible.
In a recent interview with “Latina Magazine”, she told them that: “I’ve talked about how rough things were for me and I’m sure he’s heard it. He can’t be thrilled about it. So maybe one day we can do lunch … I’m 31 years old now. Maybe it’s time.”
A while back in 2009 she had told to E! News about the ‘unpleasant childhood’ that she had had.
“Growing up I did not feel safe. Feeling powerless is the worst feeling in the world. I turned to singing as an outlet. The pain at home is where my love for music came from.”
Her Army Sergeant father on the other hand denied all such reports and claimed them as false by saying he did not abuse Christina or her sister Rachel.
“My relationship with her mother was tense and I wasn’t perfect. But I love Christina and her sister Rachel. I never abused them in any way and they know that. Shelly and I disagreed on a lot of things and we both had hot tempers. I’m sorry to have ever raised a hand to my wife, but it was never brutal like Ike and Tina Turner.”
In Latina magazine, Christina also opened up about her marriage with Jordan Bratman and later on a divorce. The mother of a single baby told the magazine that:
“Was I too young? Not at all. I did the exact right thing at the time. .I definitely wasn’t too young. I have always been older than my age.”

The singer is getting a lot of fame recently from her judging career on “The Voice.” She is herself a legend found from a show as a Mousketeer at 13. Now she has been resigned for the third season of “The Voice.”
Speaking about her 10$ million deal, an insider said that: “We’re really pleased with the entire cast. You look at the ratings and it’s no accident.”
