This thriller movie is set in New Orleans and is about a man that is running away from the past he wants to leave forever and protect his family through every situation.
Mark Wahlberg plays Chris Farraday, a man who led a life of crime and is led back to it when his cousin Andy played by Caleb Landry Jones misses a drug deal and causes damage for the boss Tim Briggs (Giovanni Ribisi). Chris comes back to run contraband for paying Andy’s debt. Being a well-known smuggler, he assembles a team with his friend, Sebastian (Ben Foster). Chris has to run to Panama and come back with a deal of counterfeit bills but everything falls apart. Now Chris has to use all his past skills to come out free with the money through the biggest crime network in history. And he has to do so before they come to get his wife Kate (Kate Beckinsale) and sons.
