Glee, a comedy musical drama, has become a major super hit among youngsters in a very short time. With its two seasons already aired, Glee fans – also known as Gleeks – are agitatedly waiting for the 3rd season to come out. It is a biting comedy musical which has become a major fashion and music source for the youth of today all over the world.
This Emmy Award winning Ryan Murphy production has famously performed for White House and Oprah Winfrey Show and even had a complete sold out U.S. tour.
In addition to the regular cast, Glee has been featuring guest appearances by a wide range of talented performers like Neil Patrick Harris of How I Met Your Mother, who won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for his work on the show. He showed off his pipes as Bryan Ryan, Will Schuester’s old high school glee club rival in Season 1.
The Pop Queen Britney Spears appeared in the Season 2 episode “Britney/Brittany” as herself in a dream sequence. She performed “Me Against The Music” on the show and donned a cheerleading costume in the episode.
Another guest appearance on the Glee Show was of the Hot n’ Famous , John Stamos. He starred as Emma’s love interest, dentist Carl Howell in Season 2. He was the love triangle between Emma and Will on the show.
Academy-Award winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow appeared as singing substitute teacher Holly Holliday in Season 2. She won a lot of good reviews over her Hot Performance in Glee as a teacher. She also belted out Cee Lo’s Forget you with the cast on their live performance show at O2 Arena.
Now including some of the future guest appearances in Glee Show, it has been reported that the ever ethereal beauty, Anne Hathaway, will be performing in one of Glee episodes in Season 3. She will be playing the role of lesbian aunt of Kurt, played by Golden Globe winner Chris Colfer.
Nick Jonas from the famous Jonas Brothers Band has been reported as saying that “He will be honored to work in the Glee Show”. He told MTV that “I’m definitely a fan of the show. I think anything that keeps music a part of popular culture is a great thing. So if there was a role for me that they thought would be cool, I’d love to do it.”
For future guest appearances, Matthew Morrison a.k.a. Will on Glee has been reported as saying that he wants Jessie J, Price Tag singer, to be a part of the show. “She’s incredible! That voice! It’d be great to have her as a lunch lady, serving dinners, with a net on her hair, absolutely great. We’ve had so many big names – now we want Jessie.”
“Pretty Woman” star Julia Roberts is set to make a cameo appearance in the musical series ‘Glee’. The T.V. Show’s leading lady, Lea Michele, who plays a talented high school student Rachel Berry, has named the actress as her Dream Guest on the show.
