We received a few queries that said that their epilators are not giving good results so we thought of doing a blog today on giving you a few tips on how to get best results from epilators.

Before we begin talking about how to get good results from epilator, we highly recommend that you buy a good branded epilator. Yes girls, remember this is a one time investment worth every penny so when you go for buying an epilator don’t even glance at the cheaper versions of epilators because their results won’t be good. 

Buy a branded epilator and it will always give you best results. Plus it will come with attachments and each attachment is very useful.

How To Use An Epilator To Give Best Results

1. Always wash your hands/legs before epilating.

This will remove on surface oils from your skin in case your skin is oily or you have a moisturizer on.This helps in  eradicating the chance that a hair may slip off.

2. Next, take a towel and wipe your hand/leg in the opposite direction of your hair growth.

This will make all your hair stand up so that they easily get pulled in by the epilator. This will also help weaken the hair roots because of the opposite hair growth rubbing.

3. Never epilate when in hurry.

If you have not epilated for 15 days and you have only 5 minutes to do it before your date, girl, your epilation result will be a disaster. Always epilate when you have ample time. Not because it will take long, but because you will not do it in a hurry.

4. Move the epilator in opposite direction of hair growth.

Now most of the epilator boxes will have instructions saying “move the epilator in upward direction” assuming that the hair growth in the downward direction. Which is not always the same for every girl.

Some girls have hair growth in side-ward. For example, the hair on your hand, will either lie on the right side or left side instead of lying downwards.

In such a case, dont move the epilator on in the upward direction but in the opposite direction of your hair growth.
