Katy Perry And Russell Brand – Split Up rumors are hard but true and probably because, as BFF Rihanna Says: “Katy Perry Has No Edit Button.” Nevertheless, we are sure that Katy Perry didn’t mean any harm last night at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, but we couldn’t help ourselves wondering.
Katy Perry sang a new song last night called “Part of me” and believe me it sounds like an open diss at ex-husband Russell Brand. Before Katy Perry Sings About Her “One That Got Away” In New Video but this was a step ahead.
She started off her Grammy Awards performance with her hit single “E.T.” and suddenly the music changed and she went into her latest single crooning to “Part of me.” With obvious aggression, Katy Perry sang the following lyrics.
“You chewed me up and spit me out / Like I was poison in your mouth / You took my light, you drained me down / You ripped me off, your love was cheap.”
Now one more proof that it was meant for Russell Brand is the fact that the original song has the lyrics: “You can keep the dog from me, I never liked him anyway.” But last night she sang something like this: “Keep your diamond ring, in fact, you can keep everything – except for me.”
Isn’t it obvious who it was meant for?! Anyways watch Perry yourself performing in a ridiculously tight, form fitting rubber cat suit of sorts with her blue hair.
