27 year old actress, Keira Knightley has been dating 28 year old rocker boyfriend, James Righton for an year now. They were introduced by one of their mutual friends, Alexa Chung and they will be forever grateful as they have found more than a friend in each other.

Although they have never made a red carpet entry together, the couple have been frequently seen walking casually along the roads of east London looking happy, content and comfortable with each other as they go hand in hand sharing laughs and even snacks.
After an year of dating, James Righton proposed Keira Knightly and she accepted the proposal happily but with a 15 month courtship. Keira Knightley’s spokesperson has confirmed this news saying,
‘I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton.’
Her spokesperson could only confirm the news and said that she cannot disclose any further details as Keira Knightly likes to have privacy when it comes to her personal life and she would not like her personal life news to go out in public. Hence they are engaged to be married after 15 months is all that the news has.
It looks like Keira is very sure about this relationship. It’s just been one year that she dated James and has even said a yes to commitment for marriage. While going back to her last relationship with Rupert Friend, she dated him for 5 years and then broke up with him last year in January 2011.
Her father, William was content on their decision as it had come after much thinking,
“It wasn’t a decision that either of them took lightly. I know they gave it a great deal of thought. I don’t think there was any one thing that led to their break-up – it was a whole raft of things, I think.”
So we know that Keira Knightly must have given her relation with James Righton several thoughts too and in the end, a “yes” to marriage is all she could get.
