The inaugural American Idol winner has been performing covers of other artists including Taylor Swift during her Stronger tour. “I thought this would be a fun one you’ll enjoy,” she told an L.A. crowd before singing. “I know you know this song … I expect everybody on these ‘Os!’”
Kelly Clarkson did an amazing job on the cover although she later reported that she had mixed feelings for the song. She said:
“I love that song. I always get this bad taste in my mouth though … when I hear Britney Spears because usually she’s my cardio music and I frickin hate cardio! I frickin’ hate the gym … the gym can suck it!”
