Earlier yesterday, Rosie O’Donnell openly degraded LiLo on “Today” show saying that it was odd that Lindsay Lohan Is To Play Elizabeth Taylor In Upcoming Biopic. She added that Lindsay Lohan is a disgrace to Elizabeth Taylor let alone her incapable skills to act like her.
This news came to Lindsay as more of a shock because it was least expected from Rosie. As per Lindsay Lohan, they both had been on great terms, both liked each other and one of the early talk shows that Lindsay first attended as a child while promoting “Parent Trap” was in fact, Rosie O’Donnell’s talk show.
Rosie O’Donnell said,
“I don’t think she’s right for the role and I don’t think she’s capable at this point of doing what’s needed to portray that character.”
“I feel very sorry for her … I think she needs a lot of time away … She’s had a lot of trouble doing every single movie, including Saturday Night Live. She was out and not in rehearsal. I think she’s not in a place to work.”
When one of the guest of the show, Donny Deutsch, said that he does not share the same thoughts as Rosie and that he thinks, Lindsay Lohan is this generation’s Elizabeth Taylor, Rosie’s rage and anger went out of control.
She called Donny Deutsch, a crackhead on live show and said that he was out of his mind to have said that.
The last thing she did good she was sixteen.”
As the news circulated around, Lindsay Lohan’s dad, Michael Lohan came to her rescue with some soothing words for LiLo but harsh for Rosie.
He said that every celebrity undergoes a lot of pressure which takes them on an emotional swing of work and relations. This can sometimes put the strongest of the person go a little insane.
He added,
“Who the hell is Rosie O’Donnell to judge anyone, especially Lindsay who has far more talent than Rosie ever had?”
“Lindsay’s talent isn’t limited to being a comedian or getting notoriety for adopting and raising a bunch of kids. Sure, Lindsay has her pitfalls, but she is 25, and how old is Rosie? Two failed talk shows, a failed marriage.”
I will fight tooth and nail for what’s right! ”In this case, Rosie, you are wrong. So why don’t you, and all in agreement with you, just sit back. shut up and see if Lindsay proves herself before blabbing your unwarranted opinions.”
WOAH, this is really going to burn Rosie more and the bruise is going to stay for a long long long time, But having that said, we definitely need to direct our fingers against anybody specially on the air. There are things that can be said in better ways and then of course everyone has their own opinions but they shouldn’t be imposed on others.
Linday’s publicist also fired back saying that Rosie should focus on her own slacking career instead of trying to degrade young celebrities who have the age, talent and time to shine bright and fine.
