Hair are constantly exposed to heat, pollution, cold and not to forget the often used hair straighteners, curlers, permers etc. Disregarding proper care that your hair needs can lead to loss of hair shine, strength and most consequential of all, leading to hair fall.
This is why it is highly recommended that you oil and condition your hair on a regular basis to replenish the lost proteins and natural oils that are sources of keeping your hair strong, shiny, soft and smooth.
Picking up a ‘before shampoo’ conditioner from the market may seem to be the easiest option but making your own conditioner at home is the best way to provide chemical free nourishment to your hair.
Following are some of the conditioners you can make at home.
1. Avocado With Mayonnaise Deep Conditioner.
Peel a ripe avocado and mash it. Mix it with a small can of mayonnaise. Apply this mixture to your hair. You can damp your hair before applying for easy application and penetration of the mixture in the hair roots.
Let the conditioner stay for about 20 to 30 minutes and then shampoo it off as usual.
2. Avocado With Coconut Milk Deep Conditioner.
Peel a ripe avocado and mash it. Then mix it in enough coconut milk to make a good consistency of a conditioner that will not drip off from your hair.
Let the conditioner stay for about 15 to 20 minutes and then shampoo your hair.
3. Lemon, Egg & Yogurt Deep Conditioner
Mince lemon rinds and keep it in a jar. You will be needing only 2 pinches of it so it will be easy each time you need to make the conditioner. Separate egg yolk from egg white and use the egg yolk in 1/4 cup plain yogurt then add two pinches of the minced lemon rinds.
Apply this on your hair let it stay for 30 minutes. Rinse it off before you shampoo.
