We thought Veena Malik would finally find her partner to share her life with in Veena Ka Vivah – Veena Malik On Swayamvar Season 4, an Indian reality television show promising to help find a celebrity, her rightful match by having 12 or more contestants who get eliminated every week.
But the channel cancelled the show leaving Veena Malik in another gust of disappointment over her marriage issues.
She is now convinced that her marriage issue is jinxed and that every time this issue arises, something does not seem right and the entire plan drops out. There never has been a time when everything has fallen straight in the line for her wedding bells to ring.
She says that her father wanted to get her wedded right from age 14 but she refused at that time because she wanted to see herself not just as a wife but also as an achiever. Her parents tried to fix her up 4 times but she was determined not to get married so young without having made a name.
Then it began with Pakistani cricketer, Muhammad Asif and then led to Indian movie actor, Ashmit Patel while appearing in an Indian television reality show called Big Boss Season 4.
Then with the Swayamvar show getting cancelled, all hopes of finding a perfect life partner drained. Veena Malik shared her views on the matter saying,
“If Swayamvar… would have happened, may be I would have even got married. When it got cancelled, my dad was very upset. Something is wrong with my wedding. I don’t think I will ever get married.”
