No one could deny the professional acting of Marilyn Streep as till now she had received total of 17 different nominations of Academy Awards. This time Marilyn Streep got her nomination for the lead role in movie based on true yet controversial story about former prime minister of America – Margaret Thatcher.
While on the other hand, in the case of best female actress the nominations for Oscar are same as they were in Golden Globes 2012 but in Golden Globes the award was given to Michelle Williams for her sultry role in ‘My Week With Marilyn’.
After watching the movie, I personally came to the conclusion that Michelle Wiliams left no room for doubt with her spot on performance in the movie ‘My Week With Marilyn’ and she surely deserve the Academy Award for her, this year’s performance.
