The movie is about a town girl named Sherrie who leaves her home for the Los Angeles to follow her dreams of becoming a singer. Unfortunately the girl gets mugged in the big city. This is where she meets Drew who is an aspiring city boy musician who saves Sherrie’s stuff and
Later Sherrie comes to know that Drew is a barback working at the famous rock venue “The Bourbon Room” and Drew succeeds in getting her a job in the same place as a waitress. Although most of the movie revolves around the club and has some nice funny scenes, there are romantic scenes and how life get’s a swirl in this new music life.
Sherrie’s dreams comes to a peak when her favorite band, Arsenal is scheduled to play their final show in “The Bourbon Room.” The lead singer of the band is Stacee Jaxx where Tom Cruise fans will see him in an ever different style, singing high pitch songs and getting crazy while singing.
To be honest, Music is not the main plot of the movie. The club where Drew & Sherrie work is owned by Dennis Dupree (Alec Baldwin) and the club is not doing well. Music will be an attempt to save the club and exactly what the story is all about.
