Soul Surfer is a story about Bethany And Alana who skip their Planned Mission Trip for a Surfing Competition in which Bethany takes the First Place and Alana stands third.

Rival to Bethany comes Malina, who defeated by Bethany refuses to come to the winner box and hence loses a golden chance offered by Rip Curl Surfer Company who sponsor them to a competition in exchange for advertising.

Highly passionate to surf, Bethany goes night surfing with Alana, his dad and brother. In all the fun and excitement Bethany fails to realize the danger behind her and as soon as she dangles her left hand in water, a shark ruthlessly bites her arm off.

The story takes an emotional sad twist as Bethany is rushed to hospital.

With an arm lost, and a competition in her way, Bethany is soon faced with the loss of her life. But even with the worst of her life, Bethany strives to fight back her weaknesses and make way for her passion.
