With a perfume bottle and a rocking album in her bag, complimented with great looks to die for, Taylor Swift has added yet another feather to her hat.
Taylor Swift, who has won multiple Grammy and Country Music Awards, has now been named as the “Billboard’s Woman of the Year.” This was announced in the Billboard magazine this very week. Taylor Swift is the youngest individual to have ever received this tremendous accolade.
“Taylor has shown the power of good songwriting with music that has transcended genres,” said Bill Werde, Billboard‘s Editorial Director. “At the young age of 21, Taylor has already made a major impact on music and has been an incredible role model for aspiring songwriters and young women everywhere. I look forward to watching her career continue to flourish in the years to come.”
Taylor Swift was busy all this summer in the promotion of her “Speak Now” album. She went on its tour around the globe in which she also covered songs sung by artists from the locality and featured singing icons in her sizzling performances like Bieber, Jay-Z, Lady GaGa etc.
This has been an outstanding year for the country music icon, Taylor Swift, and her performances show that as well. Below is one such Swift-y performance of ‘Sparks Fly’ featured on her tour.
