The Art Of Getting By – The Toughest Lesson Is Love

The Art Of Getting By is a blend of Comedy And Love between two young people who come closer through their differences.

Sally ( Emma Roberts) is a complicated girl, popular in school while George ( Freddie Highmore) is a witty boy who has excuses to come out of every situation and specially when his work remains undone.

George is not much of a social kinda person, he likes to stay by himself and he likes to do everything his own way.

If he likes to paint with a pencil even though his teacher wants him to use paints, George will end up converting his canvas into art with his pencil.

Both Sally and George living an entirely different worlds are first met when Sally is smoking on the roof top. George goes up as well to breathe fresh air and a teacher comes from behind asking who was smoking.

Sally, totally unaware of the sudden attack, is saved when George pulls out a cigarette and pretends to be smoking.

Soon both of them begin to walk along with words and Sally realizes the true George hiding inside of him while George unconsciously likes Sally but does not realize it.

The movie is free from forced emotional wave and you will enjoy a pure and realistic plot around the actors as the movie heads into laughter, tears, love and ignorance.
