So you have one person and you have another person, they both don’t like their life and don’t understand each other, then something unexplained happens, they switch bodies and then blah blah blah blah happens and in the end they both have better life and understanding and some more blah blah blah blah happens and everything falls back in its place.
Yeah exactly that movie.
Oh wait!!! You think you have already watched this movie??? No, no this isn’t that movie. No not that one either. Its a new movie dude with the same story.
That’s Dave Lockwood (Jason Bateman) who is a well settled white collar working man, married to a beautiful wife with 3 kids. He has everything in his life perfectly stable but there is just something missing in their monotonous life.
That’s Mitch Planko (Ryan Reynolds) who is single, jobless and spends his life meeting new girls and spending a one night stand with them. To him his life seems perfectly unstable yet there is something missing in his versatile life.
Here comes Jamie Lockwood (Leslie Mann) wife of David Lockwood of course.
Secretary of Dave Lockwood, Sabrina McArdle (Olivia Wilde) who plays as a sensational woman of interest to Dave who has had strong attraction towards her in spite of having a happy married life. Or rather just married life.
Long story cut short?
Dave And Mitch both look at each other’s life as a dream life and and after spending one drunk night, they get up in each other’s body. Now they must live a while in each other’s dream life, tackle the situations as they come by and also understand how hard it is.
Meanwhile they both also find out the missing ingredients of their life and wish to be back in their own body so that they can start living their life in a much finer and better way.
As a note, this movie isn’t that bad if you haven’t seen any of the Switch movies before. The comedy is great and will make you laugh out until your eyes water.
Oh by the way, The movie is R rated and contains a lot of nudity and adult stuff so you might want to be aware of it before you decide to watch this movie.
