The blades are apart on the epilator head, exactly like the one cross marked in the article. So I won’t recommend this because they may make cuts. As far as hair regrowth is concerned, I have been using epilator for a long time now and I can definitely say for sure that the hair thickness has reduced and so has the growth rate.

So after epilation, your hair will grow slower and thinner.

Don’t forget to exfoliate so as to avoid INGROWN hair.

Hi Ladies I just read this article , still i’ve tried to epilate my face using my braun silk epil 3 .. But i’m kinda scared if the hair will grow even thicker & i’ll end up looking like a man :/

Avoid using it on sensitive body areas specially if you are a first time user. Start with hands and legs and once you get the hang of it, you will know how it can be used on the whole body.

This epilator will work for you. Although, as you mention you have a lot of under chin hair, it is going to pain a lot. I would recommend that you get your chin area waxed first and then use your epilator every 15 days or depending upon the growth rate. The main idea is to epilate your chin when the hair have not densed too much to pain.

Don’t forget to exfoliate your face once in a week to prevent ingrown hair.

The one you mentioned looks skin friendly. Go ahead with it. Just remember to get a lot of practise on your hands first before you start on your face.
