TOMORROW WHEN THE WAR BEGAN this movie is a heart pulsating story following the journey of 8 friends from an Australian town school whose lives get completely destroyed by an unknown and mysterious invasion in their homeland. Caitlin Stasey is starring as a 17 year old Ellie Linton who is a precocious teen. She persuades her friends Corrie (Rachel Hurd-Wood) and Kevin (Lincoln Lewis) to come with her into a deep, dark forest camping site that is named “Hell.”

When they arrive back to their hometown, they find out that their entire homeland has come under siege by a mysterious army of invaders. When hostile army forces come to know the presence of eight kids in their midst, Ellie and her friends, along with a new recruit Chris Lang (played by Andrew Ryan) come together to escape, outwit and strike back against the mysterious enemy that has seized control of the their town and imprisoned their friends and loved ones. Will they make it?
