Universal’s Snow White And The Huntsman Vs Relativity’s Mirror Mirror

When two Snow White movies get released at the same time then one thing is bound to happen.

Changing the name will become the fate of one of the movies!

The Snow White version of the movie which had Julia Roberts (jealous step mom), Lily Collins (Snow White) and Armie Hammers (Charming Prince) is Relativity’s Project and they have changed their name with Mirror Mirror

Tarsem Singh, the director of the movie was optimistic about the turn out of the movie even knowing his competition was with Universal pictures and none of his previous movies has ever been a Hollywood success.

Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman has started to publicize it’s movie by throwing different versions of posters and trailers in the market.

Snow White And The Huntsman

We all know that Universal Pictures are a well known tycoon in the film industry and they are not going to let go of the competition this easily.

Snow White and the Huntsman starts Kristen Stewart (unlike the original version, here snow white is ready to fight for her right and is wearing a battle armour), Charlize Theron (is playing the beautiful step mom, who is never satisfied with her beauty) and Chris Hemsworth is technically here, just to flex his muscles.

With this competition among these two productions, it seems like the director Tarsem Singh has taken an initiative and decided to release his version of snow white first on March 16, 2012.

On the contrary Rupert Sanders’ Snow White and the Huntsman is due to be released in theatres on June 1, 2012.

But look at the irony of the situation, Mirror Mirror has not even published it’s poster yet and Snow White and the Huntsman has, plus it looks very interesting.

With the Snow White and the Huntsman’s trailer out, the movie looks promising and a must watch by universal pictures.
