2011 has passed us by as some time ago we wished you all a very Glamzzle-licious New Year To All. But it seems that the reminiscences of the year that passed us by are here to stay. 2011 was definitely a movie year, for some it was the start of new and amazing blockbusters and for some it was the end of a saga. There were tears and laughter that many shared, some in their homes and some in the cinema. Nevertheless, we all shared the amazing movies together through the year that was.
So we decided a while back to bring back the amazing movies to life and decided to start the poll (these are getting pretty famous for Glammzle-ites) on the topic of Whats Your Most Favorite Movie Of 2011? And we got a huge response from our readers. And today the poll results are finally out and we are ready to tell you who won the movie race and who got cut!!! Here goes…
1) Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2:
Harry Potter Finale – The Epic Conclusion of The Worldwide Phenomenon has not only ruled our hearts but it also ruled the Glamzzle poll this month with 34% votes casted on its glorious behalf. The whole world weeped (including me) at the end of this epic saga that shadowed our childhood. Even Rupert Grint Upset About Leaving His Second Home. Emma Watson – Magazine Cover Page Collection really makes you miss their child selves. This definitely shows the world and J. K. Rowling that Harry Potter Fans Want More!!!
2) Breaking Dawn Part 1:
Not very far behind but nevertheless second on the list is ‘Breaking Dawn-Part 1′ Extended Trailer & Official Soundtrack Released with 32% votes. With one more installment to go, the saga has become so famous that even the Hottest Vampire Robert Pattinson Going To Launch A Music Album. 3) The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo:
The voting line dropped with this movie as it got only 8% votes from you all. Nevertheless this movie was called one of the Top 10 Latest Box Office Movies and it started an epic saga that many followed and admired. A perfect girl-genre meets boy-genre kind of movie that will blow your mind.
4) Kung Fu Panda 2:
One of my personal favorites and every child’s laughter kit, Kung Fu Panda 2 got 6% votes as voters go downhill. But still the movie is a must watch for all ages. This is the perfect movie to get your family together on, make some hot pizza and enjoy with some hilarious family time. Certainly worked for me!
5) The Hangover Part 2:
This fun filled adult movie captures male humor to the extreme. Not made for everyone’s taste this movie is 5th on our voting list with 5% votes. Hangover Part 2 is still an exception for the audiences and it has been making profitable rounds at the Box Office. The only worth news about its lead star is that Scarlett Johansson Spotted With “Hangover” Star Justin Bartha.
6) Final Destination 5:
This movie stands side by side with The Hangover Part 2 with a voting percentage of 5%. The movie had too much gore for some but it was nevertheless one of my favorite movies as it confirmed a lot of my own worst fears. Final Destination 5 – Can You Really Cheat Death? is a thrilling battle between death and crash survivors with a very exceptional twist at the end. Go grab the DVD to find out.
7) Rise of the Planet of the Apes:
Was worth watching and a great ape movie, Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes – Evolution Becomes Revolution was an instant hit at the Box Office but apparently not for our Glamzzle readers as the movie got only 4% votes at our voting list. Seems like the humans are not that keen about getting apes into our homeland…
8) Rockstar:
The Bollywood is also present in our movie race and they weren’t that famous on the voting list. They got only 4% votes and stand eighth in the voting list. Although the movie was a blockbuster for the Indians, it was also a great fame ride for the lead star as well as we all know that Ranbir Kapoor Is Named The ‘Sexiest Asian Man’.
9) Bol:
We have good news and bad news. The good news is that Pakistan is also given a chance into this voting list and we are proud of it. Sad thing is that it was kind of at the bottom of it. At 9th position, with 2% votes “Bol” led the Lollywood team. It’s great to know that Pakistanis are making such great flicks and representing us internationally.
10) Adventures of Tintin:
Although thought to be one of the great movies of 2011, Adventures of Tintin ended last on our poll with 0% votes (4 votes) and kind of made me re-think my decision of watching the movie.
Each and every one of the movies above is worth mentioning in terms of production, direction, acting, story, animation or any other film-y trait for the movie goers.
